I’m Sheila and I write picture books and middle-grade novels. I’m actively seeking representation and working hard to get my books on the shelves of stores and libraries everywhere. My passion is to write books I would have loved to have read as a child— timeless books like Make Way for Ducklings or anything Nancy Drew. When not writing, I’m busy traveling to visit family near the Great Smoky Mountains, playing and snuggling with my Bichon Frisé, Gemma, or reading any kind of mystery. You can also find me exploring Northern California with my remarkable husband of 29 years and spending time with my two grown children.
